Thank You, Trevor...

No, Just NO-you are second in all time saves, all you need was to throw one strike. How come you couldn't do that for me, heck all National League team fans. Trevor Hoffman-shame on you. Firstly, now the Mets have to start the world series on the road, secondly you cost a MET the All-Star game MVP, Carlos Beltran or David Wright would have been the MVP. UNREAL. Ok I'm done, I am doing Thank God great, the doctor took me off one medicine and lowered my dosage on another. I would say I am at 80%. The incision is healing nicely, and everything looks amazing. Can you believe it was only 3 weeks ago? Nuts Modern medicine-Thank God. Tomorrow starts the 3 weeks, I feel the three weeks is a "good" thing because it slows down the summer and makes a person think about where they are holding in life not spiritually but emotional. Arite Have an easy fast everyone.
Ps-Wow, its a good thing we gave back Gaza, Psychos

Now we all see how good and important Mariano Rivera is to the Yankees. The best closer ever who has performed on the biggest stages stepped up again and shut down the all-stars he faced. There are different levels of closers average, good, elite, etc. Mariano is in a class all by himself "greatest ever" and proved once again. Sandman forever

Agreed, He is ONE of the greatest closer's, yet in the past 5 years- NOT SO MUCH. He also gave up a few hits. But I will not deny he is great. But the class he is in now-should be the graduating one.

Um, seeing as how the Padres don't stand much of a chance, maybe he *wanted* to screw the Mets? :)

In all seriousness, Hoffman should've thrown a change-up and not a fastball. He's blown it in a number of All-Star Games, but really, those don't matter. Even if Selig thinks they do.

How about only selecting 20 or so guys per team, the best from each league, and making them want to win to prove something instead of this "Home-Field for the WS!" crap? That's the way it used to be, and they'd actually play hard.
